Formed in 1978, Red Zebra broke through in 1980 with 'I can't live a living room', the b-side of their first single. The song made them well known in and outside Belgium and is still a dance floor filler on every new wave party. But their best work, was released a year later with the mini-album 'Bastogne' and classics as 'The art of conversation' and 'Shadows of doubt'. Red Zebra has shared the stage with bands as The Cure and Killing Joke. From time to time they release new songs. Original frontman and singer Peter Slabbynck is still part of the band and is supported by fine musicians what explains the excellent live reputation of Red Zebra.
