Raderkraft | Minimal / Synth / New Wave/ Amsterdam

Somewhere between minimal synth, electro punk and new wave is the irresistible sound of Raderkraft, a.k.a. Amsterdam-based musician/producer Willem Stinissen (1980). Equally cold and catchy, playful and hypnotising.
Raderkraft was born from Stinissen’s love for the purity and DIY mentality of early 80’s punk and synth music. Armed with throbbing analogue synths, staccato drumcomputer beats, quirky German vocals and miraculous visuals, Raderkraft takes you from the Autobahn straight into the galaxy.
The name 'Raderkraft' comes from an originally Swedish word that means 'revolving power' - nicely suited therefor to Stinissen's love for repetition and synth arpeggios.
Raderkraft released his first EP 'Keine Richtung' in 2016 on Testlab, the record label of legendary Dutch DJ/producer and former creative director of Amsterdam’s Club RoXY Eddy de Clercq. It’s followed by April 2019's 'Smart ControL' on the Belgian Die Blinden Records.
For Autumn 2019, Raderkraft was selected to be a part of the Dutch Popronde, a traveling festival of 140 acts in 40 cities spread across The Netherlands.
His third EP ‘Dust And Debris’ is released by the Dutch new-wave label ‘Wave Tension Records’ on April 2021. In between these official releases Raderkraft released several singles and remixes and also did some collabs with several Dutch bands and artists.
For late 2022 Raderkraft scheduled a new EP and an EP for a new side-project called ‘Furniture’ with Stephan Hofland, the singer and guitarist of the legendary Dutch garagepunk band ‘Dyatlov
