Lola Kumtus is a duo that originated in Helsinki year 2013. Musical references are from minimal wave to funk, Italo disco to hardcore punk, synth-punk to experimental techno. Nevertheless, the result sounds still original Lola Kumtus. 

The band has made so far two full-length records and the latest one "The Night over Future" came out via Young and Cold Records in August 2018. The new album “Pharmakos” was released in summer 2021 by Young and Cold Records. The vinyl version of the album will be released in February 2022. Anyway band is still alive and kicking. 

Lola Kumtus is known as an energetic live act and it has made several gigs around Europe including also Estonia. The band has played in Sweden (Kalabalik på Tyrolen) and Gothic Pogo -Festival in Leipzig, just a few to mention. Also in its homeland, the band has been gigging actively.
